FROM NORWAY TO SOFIA
Pavel's story, the name printed on e-v-e-r-y single box, is deeply tied to constant movement.
And that's not because Pavel recently took up riding a motorcycle. After years of studying in Bulgaria, internshiping in restaurants around the world, and settling in Norway, Pavel discovered his passion for chocolate and founded La Fève.
A few years later, he moved the brand to Sofia, believing that Bulgaria can be a haven for the innovative, the extravagant, the added-value, and the well thought-out.
Constant movement, a constant reaching out towards what's next: that's what best describes La Fève.
She once made a power ranger pasta dress. Another time tarator jelly. But always: she simply hates stews.
She once did a million push-ups because she can. Another time she brought some of her grandfather's crokmach. But always: she laughs all the time.
She once started asking a question and never stopped. Another time she was a classmate with Pavel's in Bankya. But always: she is alert, as we're all idiots, and we need someone who is not.
He once was on time with some texts and presentations, only this once. Another time he had croaked and couldn't talk any of his usual gibberish (alas, it was only this once). But always: he eats because he says "it can't be that good and harm me".
She once came up with a song which went: "I hate to sing, but I have to". Another time she didn't have to sing. But always: her portokalopita makes life worth living.
She once hummed a Grafa tune (hey, there, Vladi) while filling the molds to absolute perfection. Another time she jumped off a cliff to see what it's like even though she can't swim. But always: she says "okay, let's".
He once bought a ticket to Bulgaria's national football team hoping that we can at least beat Moldova, and he'll love us see winning. Yeah, but not –– another time. But always: he is surprised that "oh, there's a lot of traffic today, huh?".
He once spread out all his gear in less than a thousand hours, which is surely a Guinness World Record. Another time he convinced us to install a piece of machinery which turns our water into an Alkaline wonderland (it now barely trickles). But always: he's on a hunt to show us in our best possible light.
She once taught a billion kids English, while being an English language teacher. Another time she started writing a "quote of the week" on the cooler, and we can barely wait till the end of the week to see the new one. But always: she seems to be the only one who dislikes the Rose Geranium praline (Booooo)
He once dropped 36 kilos of dragees while pushing them to the warehouse. Another time he didn't drag his feet and made people believe in the future. But always: he listens to some tud-tub-tud thing he calls music.
